In discussions with The Athletic, outlined his aspirations with Real Madrid, aiming for five Champions League titles and ten La Liga championships in the future. Moreover, he disclosed that despite receiving offers from several Premier League clubs such as Chelsea, he opted to reject them all in favor of joining his dream club, Real Madrid. He also highlighted his bond with club scout Juni Calafat, the prospect of playing under Carlo Ancelotti, and his developmental journey at Palmeiras.

My dream has always been Real Madrid, since I was a kid, because my dad was always a fan, and so was I. In Madrid, I would like to win five Champions League titles and La Liga ten times.

The Brazilian young star said:

I was attracted by the Premier League, and obviously, Chelsea is a strong brand that has won two Champions Leagues. I was told that it rains a lot in London, but that wouldn’t be a problem for me because, as my father used to say, I always liked playing in the rain. But I always made it clear to my agent that my dream was Real Madrid.

The 17-year-old player shared that big English clubs, especially Chelsea, were interested in him. He liked Chelsea’s offer and was okay with London’s frequent rain, which he thought was good for playing. However, he chose Real Madrid over the Premier League’s attractions, Chelsea’s offer, and the global use of English. Despite these factors, he stayed firm in his decision to join Real Madrid.
