Real Madrid has ‘no money’ to sign Kylian Mbappe this summer, claims Ferland Mendy’s agent

Ferland Mendy’s agent stated on Wednesday that Real Madrid doesn’t have the finances to bring Kylian Mbappe to the club this summer. Yvan Le Mee, his agent gave an interview to MARCA recently. He is busy in the transfer window himself as his client’s Madrid future does not look bright. The club is prepared to offload the player this summer.
“Will Mbappé go to Madrid this summer? Absolutely not. I’m close to Real Madrid, they have no money,” the agent claimed. He also slammed the player’s mother, Fayza Lamari, who also acts as his agent for his current situation.
He said, “It’s not her job, she doesn’t have the ability to act. I wanted to set up a restaurant but I don’t know how to cook, so I didn’t. For a moment, you just have to be in reality and do what you know how to do.” Le Mèe criticized Lamari for her immature approach to dealing with Mbappe’s situation without an official license. He further mentioned that the young player was discontented with his current club. “To make arrangements for your son and other players, you should have a license.”
“When you don’t have the codes, and talk to the leader of a historic club as if you were talking to someone you’ve known for a long time, maybe it doesn’t work. You may not know how to handle the situation to get there. He’s still in Paris and obviously, he doesn’t seem happy to be there.” the agent claimed. He also further stated that Mbappe would be in Real Madrid right now with a proper agent.
The Kylian Mbappe- Real Madrid situation: How does it stand right now?
The situation in which Kylian Mbappe is in is a bit bizarre. The player has an additional year in his contract with PSG. If he does not activate it, he could leave the club for free next summer. However, he has declined to use that option.
The PSG board has said that if he does not activate the option, the club will entertain offers for him this summer. The only move which seems to interest Kylian Mbappe is the Real Madrid move.
However, in reality, Madrid may not have the funds to bring him to their club this summer. Real Madrid has always been good financially but buying Jude Bellingham, and Fran Garcia and bringing back Brahim Diaz did impact their budget for the season. It will be interesting to see how the player’s future plays out.
