In a recent interview, Manchester United star and Real Madrid great Casemiro heaped huge praise on FIFA World Cup winner, Lionel Messi. In his nine seasons with Los Blancos, Casemiro was one of the bitter rivals of the mercurial Argentine. In an interview with ESPN Brazil, the 31-year-old called Lionel Messi a metaphor for the beautiful game itself. “He is a player where everyone who sees him immediately loves him. You can’t like football or love football and not love Lionel Messi,” he said.
