The Madrid Derby or the “El Derbi Madrileno” is the match played between Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid and is considered one of the biggest rivalries in world football. The neighbors from Madrid have had some classic encounters over the years and have shared some spectacular ties and the fans are always pumped up for the derby supporting their favorite clubs desperate to be better than the other.

5) Ferenc Puskas- 13 goals

4) Santillana- 15 goals

He played a total of 17 seasons for Real Madrid and led the club to nine La Liga titles and four Copa del Reys and scored 15 goals in the 36 matches he faced Atletico Madrid in.

Real Madrid legend and second highest goal scorer of all time, Raul Gonzalez had a great career at Real Madrid and were the youngest player ever to play for the Real Madrid senior team scoring his first senior goal against his former youth club Atletico Madrid. He played a total of 15 seasons, scoring a total of 323 goals, and also won six La Liga titles and three Champions League titles.
2) Alfredo Di Stefano- 17 goals
He is known as the torch bearer for Real Madrid and was no doubt an influential player in the history of the club and he was feared a lot by the Atletico Madrid players. The Argentine great scored a total of 308 goals for the club and also led Real Madrid to eight La Liga titles and five consecutive European Cups having represented the club for 11 seasons.

The all-time leading goal scorer, Cristiano Ronaldo did fancy playing against neighbors Atletico Madrid and he is considered the most feared player in the Metropolitano having hurt them on several occasions. The Portuguese superstar still continues to hurt them even after leaving Real Madrid in 2018 and He has played a total of 31 games and scored 22 goals against them.
