Real Madrid wonder kid not included in France’s squad for 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar: Reports
Eduardo Camavinga during an International friendly match.
Real Madrid star Eduardo Camavinga has been in stellar form last season and since signing for the Spanish heavyweights he has announced himself to the whole world as one of the brightest prospects at the moment. He was absolutely crucial in Real’s success at the UEFA Champions League last season as well as was regarded as Carlo Ancelotti’s secret weapon.
He was mostly introduced as a super sub by Carlo and was the deciding factor in a lot of games where he turned the match in his team’s favor after coming on. It is said that his aggressive playing style and ball-winning capability are absolutely spot on and it would be a shocker if he misses out on the French plane to the FIFA World Cup.
Camavinga is one of the most talked about teenagers in the world at the moment and after what he did for Real Madrid last season, Didier Deschamps will have to answer a lot of questions if he doesn’t include the player in his 26-member World Cup squad. As per critics, French journalist Laurens Julien has suggested that the teenager might have been overlooked and might be replaced by Marseille’s Jordan Veretout.
Does Didier Deschamps not consider Camavinga as an important asset in his team?
During the Nations League match against Denmark, Didier Deschamps pointed to Eduardo Camavinga as one of the players who were not up to the task of the national team playing in Denmark. He said, “He did some things I don’t want to see again. He wasn’t in a good mood, but these things can happen. It will help him for the future,”
This performance in the Nordic soil of Denmark should not be a major reason for Camavinga’s ticket to Qatar but it is no secret that his relationship with Deschamps needs to improve and he needs to gain the manager’s trust and convince him if he were to be a member of the World Cup squad.
