Real Madrid youngster Rodrygo Goes has been impressing everyone with his goals and skills ever since signing for the Spanish giants. Last year, he was simply unstoppable in the knockout stages of the Champions League which in order helped the club to lift the trophy for the 14th time. And on Wednesday, he equaled the great Ronaldo Nazario in terms of the number of goals in the Champions League.

He has now scored 13 goals in the Champions League for Real Madrid in just 33 appearances which is one less than Ronaldo Nazario. Real Madrid marched their way onto the next stage of their favorite competition with a demolishing 5-1 win over Celtic emerging as the group leaders.

Rodrygo scored the second goal of the five goals which was also his third in the Champions League this season. He scored five crucial goals in the club’s conquest of the trophy last season with two goals coming in the injury time of the semi-final match-up against Manchester City. 2021/22 campaign.
