Renowned rapper Dave slammed Jim Ratcliffe in his latest Social Media post and asked the billionaire to stay away from Manchester United.
Renowned UK based rapper Dave, who reportedly is also a Manchester United fan, has given his opinion on the possibility of Sir Jim Ratcliffe taking over the club. The ownership change of the club has been one of the most discussed topics in the world of football. The current owners of the club, the Glazers, has reportedly put the club up for sale after owning the club for almost 18 years.
In a recent social media post, Dave posted a picture of Jim Ratcliffe. The picture was accompanied by the caption from the artist, which said, “Stay away from Man United you fu*ki*g punk”.
Jim Ratcliffe is an English billionaire. He is also one of the two key figures who are competing for the take-over of Manchester United from the Glazers. Apart from Jim, Manchester United has attracted. Sheikh Jassim from the Middle East. Fans are reportedly interested in seeing the Qatari bid getting the ultimate success. They feel the middle east connection might be the key to changing the condition of the club.
It is to be seen whether the ownership of the club will truly change this time after an extensive bidding war between the two parties. Or will it eventually be left with the current owners, the Glazers? It is rumored that they might be having second thoughts about selling the club.

Sir Ratcliffe outbids Sheikh Jassim with a £5bn+ offer to take over Manchester United: Report
According to reports, Sir Jim Ratcliffe, is offering a proposal valuing United at over £5 billion. INEOS want to acquire a 69% majority stake but has also proposed purchasing a marginal controlling stake. This will be by buying out Glazer siblings Bryan, Darcie, Edward, and Kevin. Although they are ready to have brothers Joel and Avram to remain as minority stakeholders.
Initial indications were that Sheikh Jassim‘s offer exceeded the £5bn mark. But it’s now being disputed, with claims that Ratcliffe has consistently outbid the Nine Two Foundation during the previous bidding rounds. Clarity could come in the next week to ten days, by which time a preferred bidder should have a period of exclusivity.
Although the deadline for bids to buy Manchester United may have passed late on Friday night. But that was only the beginning before a weekend of rumours and reports about who has an advantage in the ever-changing process.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s INEOS and the Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani fronted Nine Two Foundation remain the two frontrunners that much is agreed on. The merchant bank Raine is given the duty to pick a party who is in pole position and pipping the other to being.
All of that assumes that selling a majority stake is the intention of United’s owners. American investment firms Ares, Carlyle and Elliott are all bidding to become minority stakeholders. And also to help finance refurbishments at Carrington and Old Trafford. Ratcliffe and INEOS widely reported to value United higher than the Sheikh Jassim fronted Nine Two Foundation during the third and final round of bidding to acquire the club.
