Renowned Rapper and Barcelona fan Drake picks Cristiano Ronaldo over Lionel Messi
Canadian rapper Drake makes his choice on the Ronaldo-Messi debate in a live chat with Youtube sensation.
Drake on the Cristiano Ronaldo-Lionel Messi debate
Famous rapping icon Drake has revealed that he likes Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo over Lionel Messi in a recent conversation with Youtube icon Speed. The American Youtuber recently gained over 10 million subscribers on the special media platform after his absurd antics and high-spirited video streams went viral. He is also known for being a die-hard fan of the 5-time Ballon d’Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo.
IshowSpeed got lucky to be on a video chat with the Canadian rapper on February 15. He grabbed the opportunity and asked Drake who he prefers between the two GOATs of the generation. “For me, probably Ronado to be honest. But I know that’s probably not gonna go over well. I know it’s Messi’s moment right now, but for me, I’ve always been a Ronaldo fan. I’m like you,” Drake replied, making Speed’s day.
This response from Drake has come out as a shock to many fans, as the pop sensation has often claimed himself as an FC Barcelona fan. Although, it looks like the God’s Plan singer has been a Cristiano Ronaldo fan in disguise as well. Surely a stint Barcelona fans might not appreciate. On the contrary, Drake impressed Speed, as the Youtuber cheered up after getting to know Drake’s choice on the GOAT debate.
Despite all the chatter, football fans still appreciate the greatness of both these legends, and the magic they produced for years. In a rivalry that can not be imitated, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi gave their fans uncountable jaw-dropping moments during their honorable careers.
