“Her ex-husband is in trouble,” Renowned singer Adele takes dig at Gerard Pique after split with Shakira

English singer Adele commented on Shakira’s impressive TV appearance during her Las Vegas concert. While walking through the crowd at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace, the singer asked a fan who his favourite artist other than her was.

The fan replied that he likes Shakira, with the 34-year-old commenting: “I saw her appearance on Jimmy Fallon… Oh, her ex-husband is in trouble!”  The video then went viral on social media.

The Latin artist appeared on Jimmy Fallon’s “The Tonight Show,” and she took a swipe at Gerard Pique while talking about her breakup. She pointed out that she put up with a lot of crap. She then sang her new hit “BZRP Music Session #53” with her partner Bizarrap and danced with the audience in a stunning performance.

Shakira confessed to Jimmy Fallon that the original idea for the song in collaboration with Bizarrap came from her son Milan, “He’s also a musician, and generally, my children are my mentors. Milan was the one who told me: You have to work with Bizarrap. He even sent a voice message to my manager telling him that we had to do it because we were going to be number one.”

Shortly afterwards, the singer explained the immense emotion she felt at the fact that people instantly loved her record-breaking song. “Music Sessions Vol.53,” which the 46-year-old performed in collaboration with producer Bizarrap, was released in January. It became the Spanish song with the most Spotify streams in 24 hours (14,393,324), the Spanish song with the most YouTube views in 24 hours (63,000,000), and the first Spanish song to reach 100 billion YouTube views in less than three days.

The Barcelona central defender has avoided discussing the track, which was released months after the couple’s separation but he opened up about his feelings on Tuesday.

In an interview with radio program El mon a Rac1, hosted by his friend Jordi Baste, Pique tactfully called Shakira’s action into question. He argued that parents should protect their children. “People have a responsibility, especially those of us who are parents, to try to protect our children,” he said. He ended by saying that they both made decisions they thought were best.

“I don’t want to talk about it anymore,” he added. “I think that in the end, the only thing that matters is that my children are fine,” he said, referring to Milan and Sasha, who were born during Shakira’s nearly 12-year relationship with Pique.
