Should she depart the club, new owner Todd Boehly and coach Thomas Tuchel are anticipated to make the final choice on Broja’s future. Broja made an impression on loan at Southampton last year, scoring nine goals in 38 appearances across all competitions, and the Saints have shown an interest in bringing him back on a permanent basis.

West Ham already made their first summer signing, with defender Nayef Aguerd coming for £30 million from Rennes. David Moyes is trying to bolster his team ahead of a season in which West Ham aims to progress in the Premier League while also competing in the Europa League for the first time.

The club is still working on a deal for PSG goalie Alphonse Areola, who spent last season on loan with the Hammers. With Mark Noble, Andriy Yarmolenko, Ryan Fredericks, and David Martin all leaving at the completion of their contracts, Moyes will be granted funds to continue building his team.

Declan Rice’s future will be one of the summer’s biggest stories. West Ham have stated that they would not sell him this summer, but a bid in the area of £100 million would be impossible to turn down. Rice’s contract has two years left on it, although West Ham may extend it for another year until the summer of 2025.

Keane Lewis-Potter of Hull City is also a target for West Ham. Jesse Lingard’s Manchester United contract expires this month, and talks have been made about signing him.
