He proceeds to look around the auditorium in disbelief, repeating:

Ain't no way bruh.

As Speed stood in disbelief at what happened, the crowd in the Théâtre du Châtelet erupted in cheers and jubilation for the Argentine. However, the YouTuber accidentally kickstarted a standing ovation for the Argentine. From a video recorded by the person seated next to Speed, it is understood that he was the first to rise from his seat.

Even though Speed did so in disbelief at the Argentine’s win, the crowd followed suit, rising along with the YouTuber, to give Lionel Messi a wonderful standing ovation. As the crowd rose in admiration of the player, Lionel Messi became the only player to receive a standing ovation ‘twice’ in the Ballon d’Or ceremony. The win marks Messi’s 8th Ballon d’Or in total.
