“Ronaldo on the sax at The Black Forge Inn”- MMA superstar trolls Cristiano Ronaldo
Conor McGregor and Cristiano Ronaldo
Famous MMA fighter Conor McGregor has taunted Cristiano Ronaldo by posting a tweet from his personal Twitter account about his poor performance.
Cristiano Ronaldo started his second in the season against Real Sociedad, missing a golden opportunity with a goal disallowed as United’s four-game winning streak ended abruptly. Ronaldo was one of six changes Eric Ten hag made in his first European match outside of the Champions League since 2002,his gamble backfired as United struggled to get out of second gear.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s streak of poor performances continues
Ten Hag chose a solid lineup to begin the Europa League group stage, but he still made a few adjustments, including recalling Ronaldo. The 37-year-old had hoped that a summer transfer would allow him to play Champions League football elsewhere this season, but instead he made his first-ever appearance in the Europa League and didn’t seem to enjoy himself.
He is yet to score a goal this campaign and had a goal disallowed in the first half for offside. He also had a few half-chances snuffed out by Real Sociedad’s tenacious defence. In the second half, he also accepted a few difficult tasks, and by the conclusion, he appeared to be feeling some discomfort.
Ronaldo benefited by playing 90 minutes after missing nearly all of the preseason, but his performance didn’t indicate that he would soon be back in the lineup for a Premier League match. For now, he might have to wait for his time in the Europa League and hope he can recover his scoring touch soon and force Ten Hag into bringing him back for games in the league. He will most likely have to make do with his impact replacement duties for the time being.
