Roy Keane called Brighton's gameplay brilliant

Roy Keane opened up about his match impression after Brighton and Hove Albion brushed aside Arsenal by three goals in the Premier League on Sunday. The former Manchester United legend called Brighton’s gameplay ‘brutal but it was brilliant’. The 51-year-old said that Arsenal had ‘no place to hide’ after the match. 

Brighton locked horns with Arsenal in a nail-biting Premier League clash. The Seagulls looked dominating from the very beginning of the match. But the match started to turn immediately from the second half. The former Manchester United legend has also called the Gunners losing their ‘steam’, even after ‘a very good season.’

In the words of Roy Keane, Brighton’s 19-year-old Julio Enciso scored a ‘brilliant’ goal set up by Pervis Estupinan in the 51st minute. Danis Undav ends the title race for Arsenal scoring his first in the 86th minute. Pervis Estupinan was in the mood to make the world ‘brutal’ after scoring the third goal for Brighton in injury time.

Brighton’s game was a brilliant display of tactical brilliance. Roy Keane was right as Arsenal had no place even in their home match. The title race for Arsenal now probably comes to an end. Mikel Arteta needs to wait a bit more to end the trophy drought.

Mike Arteta was seen facing the press conference after his side clashed with Brighton and Hove Albion. The Spaniard brutally enquired about the defeat and his opinion about the title race. 

Mikel Arteta pointed towards the title race with Manchester City. Lamenting yet not losing hope the coach says the team needs to perform ‘very differently’ in the next fixture. The Gunners’ boss mentioned that they have to hold on unless the race is “mathematically not over.”

The 41-years – old is aware that the second position of the team is secured. With that being said, Arsenal can perform in the Champions League. The same even though not a proper substitute for losing the title race but can act as a consolation. 

Arsenal’s dream to win the Premier League title after a long time has probably come to an end. With the Gunners seeing a merciless defeat from Brighton and Hove Albion, the team moved to second position with 36 games. On the other hand, Manchester City moves to the top spot with 35 games with 85 points.
