Gareth Southgate looks dejected after the loss against Italy last night.

England national team lost the match against Italy last night and is still winless in the ongoing Nations League. They have now been relegated from their Uefa Nations League group and will be in Group B for next year’s Nations League. Italy’s Giacomo Raspadori scored a stunning goal at the 68th min mark to break the deadlock in the San Siro and Nick Pope could just watch the ball end in the back of the net.

This marked England’s five consecutive matches without a win and manager Gareth Southgate faced a lot of criticism after the loss as he got his tactics all wrong. He started with Harry Maguire despite of his bad form at Manchester United which didn’t end up well and the attacking options lacked finishing as England still is yet to score a non-penalty goal in the tournament.
