Fans were shocked by Shakira and Gerard Pique‘s ‘divorce’ in June, even though they were not officially married. They spent 12 years as a couple. Both parties have remained silent over the allegations that Piqué cheated on Shakira near the end of their romance. The football player has subsequently been connected to 23-year-old student Clara Chia Marti.
An unknown detail about Shakira and Gerard Pique has been revealed. She elaborated on the causes of the separation in the song “Monotonia.” It appears that she chose to focus on a particularly traumatic aspect. In Spain, it is believed that Pique left her because she could not fulfill his desire to provide him with a baby girl.
According to local media, the singer was repeatedly spotted at a fertility center because she tried right up until the end. She progressively lost contact with Gerard Pique due to the failure of all the therapies. The athlete, along with his new partner Clara Chá Marti, now hopes to become a father once again, as per reports.
The erstwhile Barcelona defender and Shakira have two children, Milan and Sasha. They are already bidding farewell to their pals and paternal grandparents to begin a brand-new future in Miami.

Shakira and Gerard Pique initially engaged while filming the FIFA World Cup 2010 song “Waka Waka – It’s Time for Africa,” which established the musician as a worldwide superstar. According to rumors, the footballer, who is about ten years her young, and the singer quickly became friends and eventually fell for one another.
