Shakira cuts off last link between her and Gerard Pique, fires a lawyer associated with the former Barcelona captain’s company

Shakira recently moved to Miami in April following her high-profile break-up with Gerard Pique. However, that is just one of several steps the singer has taken to distance herself from both the father of her children and his family.
Her departure from Barcelona has left some unresolved issues, like her luxury car collection’s fate and her involvement in various businesses while living in Barcelona. ‘Fire Rabbit SL’ is one such business. The company conducts real estate management work, mainly relating to the mansion where Shakira lived for twelve years with Pique.
According to information from Spanish media, Shakira revoked Ferran Vilaseca’s duties as joint administrator of this company, leaving her as it’s sole administrator. There are reportedly several reasons for this decision. Vilaseca has close ties with Pique, with whom she wishes to break all possible links beyond being the father of her children.
Vilaseca is the ex-footballers personal lawyer. As if that were not enough, he is closely linked to ‘Kosmos’, the sports events production company created by the Catalan and responsible for creating the King’s League.

Joan Pique, Gerard’s father, is an added factor in this decision. Her former father-in-law is the sole administrator of ‘Kerad Holding,’ another company created by Gerard, which formed a partnership with ‘Fire-Rabbit SL’ called ‘Two&Two SL.’
This firm was responsible for sending the email to Shakira in March asking her to vacate the mansion. Pique’s father signed this letter, which is why the singer sold her part of the mansion to break ties with her ex-partner’s family.
According to reports, Shakira has already appointed a new legal representative to take charge of Fire-Rabbit SL – lawyer Enrique Pecourt Gozalbez. These moves come not only in the context of the break-up between Shakira and Pique but also as a way of preparing the ground for her trial against the Spanish Treasury, which accuses her of tax evasion.
According to the judge in the case, this will be the only trip the Colombian will have to make to Barcelona in connection with the matter. Thus, the artist wishes to put her accounts in order as soon as possible, especially concerning her links with the Pique family. On the other hand, the singer and the ex-footballer’s lawyers continue working on the separation agreement they will present to a Florida court for registration.
