Shakira furious with Gerard Pique for not visiting her ill father: Reports

The veteran Barcelona player Gerard Pique reportedly has Shakira “extremely furious” with him after he failed to pay a hospital visit to her ailing father. Before declaring their separation in June, the couple had been dating for 11 years. They are parents to two kids and once ranked among the most significant celebrity couples in the world.
However, after Shakira’s dad was admitted to the hospital due to health issues, it seems that their relationship has reached a new low. The Colombian singer was horrified when Pique neglected to check on her sick father or even pay him a visit.
According to Adriana Dorronsoro, who spoke to The Sun, Shakira has been left feeling “extremely distraught” by her ex-partner. According to reports, she was very clear that Pique had not yet visited her father. “Shakira is very upset that Pique didn’t go to see him and that he hasn’t enquired about his health. She wanted to make it very clear that Pique has not been to visit her father nor has he asked about his health,” Dorronsoro told.

Shakira recently revealed that her romance with the Barcelona star had ended and the Colombian stated that in order to assure his success with the La Liga giants, she had given up her profession. “Oh, this is really hard to talk about personally, especially as this is the first time I’ve ever addressed this situation in an interview. I’ve remained quiet and just tried to process it all. It’s hard to talk about it, especially because I’m still going through it,” she told Elle.
“I put my career in second gear and I came to Spain, to support him so he could play football and win titles. And it was a sacrifice of love. Thanks to that, my kids were able to have a present mom, and I have this amazing bond with them that is unbreakable and that sustains us. You know, that is it. That’s all I can say,” she added.
