At the start of this month, Shakira finally moved to Miami with her children. The Colombian singer is ushering in a new phase in her life away from the drama. She already has a mansion in the city, but apparently, the singer is looking for yet another one alongside 4x Grammy-awarded artist and Spanish singer Alejandro Sanz.

Alejandro Sanz is Shakira’s good friend and the pair previously collaborated on “La Tortura” back in 2005. According to reports, the two singers are considering purchasing a property. “Media Spaniards predict that Shakira and Alejandro Sanz will form a partnership to buy a mansion on a private island in Miami. The investment is estimated at about 20 million dollars”.

Gerard Piqué ‘s ex-partner and the musician have maintained a good friendship and she has even indicated Sanz as a great support during her stormy separation from the footballer. Their songs came out in the mid-2000s and in those years the two singers were inseparable, not only on stage but in their personal lives, as the two hung out and shared beautiful moments in family and friendly environments.

Shakira has been seen with her brother visiting several mansions in the city of the sun and it is also true that she is not living in her old house. It is unknown if Shakira will reside in the termite-infested location, as she has been seen looking for another space recently. According to reports, she is willing to spend $50 million on a new mansion, much bigger than the previous one, to enjoy with her children.

To maintain her privacy, Shakira has put up a tarp to cover the house facing the bay. According to the journalist, the area is a popular spot for tourists sailing in the bay, and she wants to ensure that her children have a peaceful life and are respected. She was accompanied by a real estate agent, and she has already visited some of the best options offered to her. The initial residence, which was invaded by termites, has a value of around $15 million.
