Sheikh Jassim currently fighting a battle against Sir Jim Ratcliffe to become the new owner of the Red Devils. Glazers, who own Manchester United have put the club for sale and neither Sheikh Jassim nor Sir Jim Ratcliffe are putting their feet back. However, if not Manchester United then Sheikh Jassim has decided to buy another Premier League club.
The Qatari banker is sure for becoming the new owner of the club after he submitted the fourth bid. But despite submitting the fourth bid the current owners Glazers are looking forward to handing the club to Jim Ratcliffe and not to the Qatari banker.
This might miss the chance for Jassim to buy the club. But according to recent reports and news the Qatari banker is admitted to get a foot in the Premier League. And if not Manchester United then West Ham United, Jassim is deciding to buy West Ham United if he misses the deal with Man Utd.
However, currently, the East London club is not for sale with the majority of the stake held by David Sullivan who has still not decided to sell his stakes. But if Jassim comes with huge funds then Sullivan could get tempted.
West Ham is currently in the 14th position and has booked its place in the finals of the UEFA Europa Conference League against Fiorentina. The match would take place on 8th June and if the Hammers win the finals then the chances of Jassim buying the club could increase much more.

Why do the Glazers reportedly prefer Sir Jim Ratcliffe over Sheikh Jassim?
Both Jassim and Jim Ratcliffe are desperate to buy the 13 Times Premier League Title holder. Glazers have valued the club for approximately six billion dollars and are hoping to even get beyond the estimated valuation.
But Sheikh Jassim has offered five billion dollars for 100% equity. And Jim Ratcliffe has offered approximately five billion dollars for 60% equity. Glazers are not willing to sell the whole club for five billion dollars and want the Qatari banker to bid more if he wants the full authority of the club.
At first Glazers wanted to sell the whole club and now as per many reports they have changed their mind and now want to sell only half the club. And for this reason, the current owners are preferring Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s bid over Sheikh Jassim.
And as per reports Jim Ratcliffe is also ready to lower the equity to get his hand over the club but has decided that the majority of the shares will be owned by him. This would give him an advantage in decision-making over the Glazers.
