Wong Li Lin has replied to the criticism leveled at her for allegedly “groping” Cristiano Ronaldo at a promotional event. After seeing Wong grip the arm of Portuguese superstar Ronaldo, social media trolls were quick to condemn her conduct.
Wong Li is accused of reportedly grasping Ronaldo’s hand quite a few times during the five-time Ballon d’Or winner‘s visit to Singapore Botanic Gardens on June 2, 2023. Ronaldo traveled to Asia to promote a series of young scholarships established by his long-time friend Peter Lim. Wong Li was the chief executive of Lim’s Mint Media Sports enterprise.
Wong Li has allegedly responded to reports that she irritated Ronaldo by continually pulling on his arm. During a recent interview, Wong talked about the exaggerated “groping” remarks directed towards her. She said, “I led him at the event as I knew what he was to do next. I just held his arm. When did I touch his other parts? Ronaldo is a football legend. Everyone loves him and wants to interact with him. And so did I, that’s all. I think if most of the netizens who left messages had the chance to meet him, they would do more.”
Wong remains sure that her actions were not “unprofessional,” despite what some have stated. Ronaldo is getting ready to join the Portugal squad for their Euro 2024 qualifiers against Bosnia and Iceland. The 38-year-old has 198 caps and 122 goals for his country.

Rodriguez responded, “Of course not, you invited him”. Georgina then sparked another rumor when she was asked about marrying Ronaldo. She said, “Of course”.
