Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo has issued an official statement via his Instagram amidst rumors about his controversial actions and speculations about his position in the club. The Portuguese star wrote, “I try to live and play respectfully towards my colleagues, my adversaries, and my coaches.” The stand between him and Ten Hag.
The star further wrote, “I’m the same person and the same professional that I’ve been for the last 20 years playing elite football,” implying on his nature that hasn’t changed after a lot in so many years. “Respect has always played a very important role in my decision-making..” said the star adding on his stand.
“I’ve always tried to set the example myself for the youngsters that grew in all the teams that I’ve represented,” said the Portuguese as someone who has constantly tried to prove himself. “Unfortunately that’s not always possible and sometimes the heat of the moment gets the best of us”– CR7 on reflecting on the Tottenham incident.
The player further added, “Right now, I just feel that I have to keep working hard in Carrington, and support my teammates in any given game.” The player has made peace with him being constantly benched. “Giving in to the pressure is not an option. It never was.” The star further added in his closing lines regarding a positive mindset.
