“That is why we won”- Bayern Munich’s coach clarifies reasons for victory against Barcelona

Julian Nagelsmann speaking about Barcelona

After the match on Tuesday in the Champions League, Bayern Munich yet again defeated Barcelona with a score of 2-0. The Bavarian coach Nagelsmann post the match explained the reasons and enlightened everyone about the facts of the game that was played.

Nagelsmann said, “We couldn’t find our game in the first half. We did better in the second half,” which depicts the truth as Bayern really struggled to keep the ball in their feet and create a few chances, which on the other hand the Catalan side did, including a perfect attempt by Lewandowski but then came the German wall.

He further said, “Barca created more chances than us, but we scored the goals and were more effective. That is why we won” This clearly implies the direction that the Bavarians had their game on in the second half, including the L.Sane’s great finish. The Catalan side created more chances but somehow failed to convert them.
