The ‘bemused’ response of Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney to Cristiano Ronaldo comments in the explosive Piers Morgan interview

In an explosive conversation with Piers Morgan, Cristiano Ronaldo attacked his former teammate Wayne Rooney. The 37-year-old Portuguese attacker made a suggestion that Wazza would be envious of his longevity and appearance.

The forward claimed to Piers, “I don’t know why he criticises me so badly… probably because he finished his career and I’m still playing at a high level. ” I’m not going to say that I’m looking better than him. Which is true…”

Ronaldo needs to accept a minor role at his advanced age, according to comments made this season by Wayne Rooney and Gary Neville. The Portuguese star, however, has not responded positively to what he perceives to be criticism, denouncing the couple and asserting that “they are not his friends.”

The former captain of Manchester United has emphasized that the Portuguese cannot expect to participate in every game at this point in his career and that he must accept the circumstances at a team the size of the Red Devils.

Ronaldo sat down with Morgan and let loose on various United components for 90 minutes. The club legend declared he had “no regard” for manager Erik ten Hag, charged the Glazer family owners with “not caring” about sports, and admitting he “didn’t know” who the previous interim manager Ralf Rangnick was.

Tonight at 10 p.m. on Talk TV, Morgan has promised more “shocking revelations” from the five-time Ballon d’Or winner. It is planned to publish the entire interview on Wednesday and Thursday.
