Brazilian legend and footballing sensation Ronaldinho recently heaped praise on Mohamed Salah, saying he would wish to play alongside the Egyptian.

The Egypt international will enter the final year of his contract at Anfield next season but there have been few strides made towards a new deal so far. The forward is keen to be rewarded for his jaw-dropping form over the past four years at the club.

However, Liverpool have been reluctant to meet his demands so far as they do not want to break their wage structure. It has led to a dangerous situation wherein Salah could end up leaving even for nothing.

Former AC Milan and Barcelona star Ronaldinho insisted that the most important thing for the forward is to be happy, regardless of what his future looks like.

“An advice to Mohamed Salah regarding his future? The most important thing is for him to be happy, football is a source of happiness and it must be no matter what club he plays for in the future. He has to keep playing football in a way that makes him happy because there’s nothing better than playing football,” Ronaldinho said.

“I wished I could play alongside Mohamed Salah. He is one of the best players in the world who I always like to watch,” he added.

“We are well prepared”- Mohamed Salah on Champions League 2021-22 Final against Real Madrid

The Champions League final will be a rematch of the 2017-18 final between Real Madrid and Liverpool in which Los Blancos defeated the Reds 3-1 with some calamitous goalkeeping from Loris Karius and the individual brilliance of Gareth Bale who scored with a Bicycle kick goal in the final.

On the rematch with Madrid who famously beat him in the 2018 Champions League final when sustained an early injury, he added: “I remember the last final against Real Madrid as if it was yesterday. We are well prepared and hopefully, we can take our revenge in the next final.”
