“The Korean king; The prodigal Son”-Twitter reacts as Heung Min Son delivers a 13-minute hattrick coming from the bench against Leicester City
Heung Min-Son celebrating after scoring a goal against Leicester City.
It was a goals feast on Saturday evening at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium where Tottenham faced bottom-placed Leicester City and in the end, it was a comfortable win for the London-based club. Leicester City has been struggling since the start of the season and today they have been absolutely shattered by Tottenham losing the match by 6 goals to 2 despite taking the lead an early lead.
The main story behind the match was the splendid display from the Korean superstar, Heung Min Son who was not in the starting lineup considering his bad run of form in the last couple of matches. But he has replied back in brilliant fashion scoring a 13-minute hattrick shutting the door for many questions pointed towards him leading to the match.
Having come off from the bench, he scored his first goal of the season in the 72nd minute when he blasted past Danny Ward with an absolutely vicious thunderbolt from the edge of the box which went straight into the top corner of the goal. His second goal was even better as he shaped his body beautifully to place the ball in the left corner with his left foot from outside the box.
