With Kylian Mbappe ready to make a decision on his future, his mother said agreements are in place with Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain. Kylian Mbappe’s mother recently confirmed the forward has reached contract agreements with both Paris Saint-German and Real Madrid, and all that remains is for the 23-year-old to make a final decision.
Mbappe was voted Ligue 1 player of the season for a third successive time last week, before declaring at the Union Nationale des Footballeurs Professionnels (UNFP) award ceremony in Paris that he would announce a decision on his future before France’s Nations League fixtures in June.
The player’s mother and agent Fayza Lamary have now confirmed reports that Mbappe has agreed to similar terms with both PSG and Madrid.
“There are no new sessions in order to negotiate the future of Mbappe after the expiration of his contract with Paris Saint-Germain. These sessions have ended. We have an agreement with Real Madrid and another agreement with Paris Saint-Germain, and the negotiations have already ended, now Kylian has to choose,” she said.
“The two offers are equal from Real Madrid and Saint-Germain, there are no big differences between them, but we are waiting for Kylian to choose what he wants,” added Mbappe’s mother.
Mbappé’s mother said that Kylian would have full control of his image rights at Real Madrid, but PSG has offered a financial amount that would compensate for it. She also declared that all meetings with either club have finished, and it is solely on Mbappé now to make his choice.
Kylian Mbappe will announce his decision between extending with Paris Saint-Germain or heading to Real Madrid on Sunday
According to Foot Mercato, the 23-year-old will announce his decision this Sunday on where he will play next season. The France international’s representatives have reportedly met with both parties, and now he’s ready to decide.
The 23-year-old is expected to reveal whether he will extend with his current club or join Real Madrid on a free the day after the final game of the season, against Metz at the Parc des Princes. Mbappé is expected to announce his decision on Téléfoot, the weekly show on French channel TF1 dedicated to football on Sundays.
