Elma Aveiro, a sister of Cristiano Ronaldo, has endorsed the forward’s scathing criticism of Erik ten Hag and Manchester United. Ronaldo confessed he felt “betrayed” by Manchester United and doesn’t respect ten Hag, who he claimed has tried to force him out of the team, in a candid TalkTV interview with Piers Morgan.

The 37-year-old also claims the club lacked “empathy” when his daughter was hospitalised in July and admits he had “never heard” of former manager Ralf Ragnick during the 90-minute interview, which will air at 8pm on Wednesday and Thursday.

The claims have not yet been addressed by Manchester United, but it is widely believed that the Portuguese international has played his final match for the team and will leave during the January transfer window.
