Lingard will leave Manchester United at the end of the summer with him refusing to sign a new contract after reportedly not getting enough match time in the Red Devils.

Lingard Premier League’s record is respectable if not spectacular with 29 goals and 14 assists to his name in 165 appearances keeping in mind that one-third of them have come from the bench and with three goals in cup finals, he has shown neck of scoring in big matches which have kept his potential suitors interested.

Lingard spent the second half of the 2020-21 season on loan at West Ham and was sublime, to say the least. His nine goals and four goals in just sixteen games had him in contention of being one of the greatest January loan signings of all time. Many were sure that Lingard would sign for the Hammers permanently next season but he stayed put and West Ham is again interested in his signature.

AS Roma

Lingard could reunite with Jose Mourinho at Roma, with the Italian club joining the race for the forward, according to the Mirror. The English pair of Chris Smalling and Tammy Abraham have enjoyed productive spells at Roma, while Ainsley Maitland-Niles is on loan from Arsenal which could tempt the 29-year-old England international to make the move.

AC Milan

AC Milan is one of several European clubs interested in signing Manchester United playmaker Jesse Lingard when his deal expires, a report claims. Milan’s squad looks thin and they wish to add more depth in attacking areas. Lingard’s versatility and directness could suit Pioli’s football philosophy and be beneficial for both parties.
