Tottenham announces new Chief Football Officer after Fabio Paratici steps down
Former director Paratici stepped down from the role and took an immediate leave of absence
Tottenham Hotspur have appointed Scott Munn as their new new chief football officer. The news comes after Fabio Paratici stepped down as the managing director of football for the club.
Munn has worked as the CEO of City Football Group China since 2019. In the past, he was also the CEO of Australian Football League team Melbourne City FC. Spurs announced that Munn would be given control over all football-related departments and given a seat on the club’s board.
Speaking about his appointment, the club’s chairman Daniel Levy stated: “Scott has a unique and broad experience of running sporting organizations at the highest level. He will take responsibility for the leadership and management of our football activities to instill best practice both on and off the pitch.”
Munn is the successor to Fabio Paratici, who stepped back from his role at the club and took an immediate leave of absence amid ongoing investigation of alleged financial malpractice during his tenure at Juventus. Even if Paratici returns, he is expected to work under and report to Munn.

Tottenham transfer targets for the summer
Tottenham Hotspur have suffered a torrid season as they are set to end another year trophy-less. They currently look for solutions in the summer hoping for retribution come next season.
Brentford goalkeeper David Raya is on top of the North London-based club’s list. An ageing Hugo Lloris has been a problem of late for the club due to his injuries and issues with his form. Raya has established himself as a brilliant shot-stopping and ball-playing keeper in the Premier League and would be a perfect replacement for the Frenchman.
Josko Gvardiol is also on Tottenham’s radar as they look to boost their defence before the start of next season. The RB Leipzig center back has proven to be a solid option thanks to a string of consistent performances in the Bundesliga and the World Cup with Croatia.
