“He’s scored zero goals,” Tottenham Hotspur manager Antonio Conte hits back at Richarlison on ‘sh*t’ season remarks

Tottenham Hotspur manager Antonio Conte recently responded to striker Richarlison’s comments on the team and manager. The Brazilian initially vent his frustration on live television calling his season “s**t”. The paparazzi, however, paraphrased the statement as a criticism of his teammates and manager. Richarlison failed to score a single goal in the league for Spurs.

During the interview, Richarlison said, “Apologies for the word but this season is s**t because I don’t have minutes, I suffered a bit from injury, too.” Antonio Conte, the manager of the north-London club, during another interview, diluted the situation and tried to keep it under his control.

Reacting to the interview, Conte stated: “He is right, he started well with us, he then had an injury and went to the World Cup and had another serious injury, he’s scored zero goals with us (In the Premier League), only two goals in the Champions League and the guy was really honest to say his season was not good. His season has not finished yet. If he deserves to play I’ll give him the opportunity.
