According to L’Equipe, Christopher Nkunku is set to end his time in Bundesliga as he wishes to leave RB Leipzig and take up a new challenge. The French striker has several clubs who want him to lead the attacking force including his former club PSG and a fresh addition with Manchester United also looking to bring him aboard.

Ralf Rangnick will be the new consultant under Eric ten Hag from the next season and the German can introduce him to the Red Devils as they hope to build a fresh team. 

Several other European giants might also give competition to the English side as Bayern Munich also target Nkunku and might end up winning the race for the Frenchman.

The France international has scored 30 goals and 20 assists in his 48 appearances for the club across all competitions. Real Madrid and Paris Saint-German are among the top contenders to sign the 24-year-old striker after his performances in the champions league and Europa league this season, taking them to the semifinal of the Europa League 2021/22.

Why do big European teams want RB Leipzig star Christopher Nkunku?

Christopher Nkunku is one of the upcoming young talents who have the potential to conquer European football and several clubs are chasing him to add to their attack.

Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain, and Bayern Munich are the top runners to compete for the Frenchman. The Leipzig-star has been an all-rounder this season in the Bundesliga. Real Madrid, AC Milan, and other English clubs might also add to the race to rope in the 24-year-old striker.

RB Leipzig is currently at the fifth spot in the German league table with just one point less than the fourth position holder and would look to get into the top four for next year’s UCL. Nkunku has been the key to RB Leipzig’s success this season as they are ahead in the first leg of the Europa League semifinal to Rangers with a slender one-goal advantage.
