“Tuchel for PM”- Chelsea fans make hilarious request after Boris Johnson resigns as Britain’s Prime Minister
The official Chelsea Twitter account has recommended Boris Johnson should be replaced with Thomas Tuchel. The Blues uploaded an image of a board that is on show at Stamford Bridge and proposed a moniker that would undoubtedly be well-liked by their own followers.
More than 50 Conservative MPs, including former Health Secretary Sajad Javid and ex Chancellor of the Exchequer Rishi Sunak, have left the party, forcing the incumbent 58-year-old Conservative Prime Minister to resign from his position as party leader.
Despite submitting his resignation letter, Mr. Johnson is anticipated to serve as interim prime minister into the fall as the Conservative Party selects his replacement. Chelsea Football Club thinks they have the appropriate candidate even though he lives four miles away.
The German manager is undoubtedly well-liked in west London after leading the team to its second Champions League title. If he were to make a drastic career move, he may even be a lock for the Chelsea and Fulham area in the upcoming general election.
And it appears that Tuchel already has the support of the Chelsea supporters for his upcoming endeavor. One supporter reacted positively to the club’s ironic Twitter message by saying, “Sounds fantastic to me.” Another said, “The man knows how to stuff a cabinet.”

The “Tuchel for PM” banner only serves to highlight how well-liked the German manager is at the London club. Since being named Frank Lampard’s replacement in January 2021, the German has been successful for the west London club.
With a 1-0 victory over Manchester City in the championship game, Tuchel led the Blues to their second Champions League title last season. The group would go on to win the UEFA Super Cup and the ensuing Club World Cup.
Chelsea had a difficult season last year, and off-the-field ownership disputes significantly hindered their performance. Nevertheless, Tuchel was able to lead his team to both domestic cup finals.
