Jose Gimenez is likely to get booked for 15 matches after the Uruguay star was seen elbowing a FIFA director in the back of the head following their departure from the FIFA World Cup after South Korea’s victory over Portugal. The South American side was adamant about securing all the 3 points against the African country.

A video has been revealed where the La Liga player hits the FIFA director with his elbow on the back of his head. Jose Gimenez also had some harsh words to say to the match official. Giminez said: “They (the referees) are all a bunch of thieves sins of b****es. Yes, record me—Son of a b***th.

After a heartbreaking exit from the prestigious competition, the Uruguayan star lost his temper and assaulted the match official. The aggressive move cost the player an expensive ban and a spoilt image. This was due to the penalty not being awarded to the South Americans after an opportunity to go 3-0 up against Ghana.
