The fight against racism led by Vinicius Junior is ringing bells in the ears of everyone in Spain. The 22-year-old Brazilian forward posted a video on his personal social media account about the instances of racism he has faced. He also posted a long message to the fans, and broadcasters of La Liga, and a prayer for justice against Racism on Tuesday.

Real Madrid forward Vinicius Junior has faced the plight of immense racism since the beginning of his career in La Liga. The young Brazilian forward’s pain increased after the entire stadium started to shout ‘MONO’ at him. The racism hurl was so intense that the player was seen crying during the match after being sent off by the referee. The player today posted a video of racism he faced in different stadiums across Spain.

The 22-year-old wrote how all death wishes, hanged dolls and abusive screams have been recorded. But the player also lamented how none of the criminals committing such activities are show caused for their actions. The Brazilian International questions what is stopping the justice system to punish all of them. The Los Blancos forward has also blamed La Liga questioning broadcasters why they have failed to charge La Liga. He questions ‘ Don’t televisions bother to broadcast this barbarity every weekend?’.

Vinicius Junior is taken aback by the incidents of racism he is facing in a foreign land miles apart from his homeland. He repeats in his post how ‘serious’ and grave racism as a problem is. As said by every football pundit, racism can never go parallel with a game like football. So Vinicius ends by saying, ‘ You are not football. You are inhuman’

Valencia identifies fans in Mestalla stadium for the act of racism against Vinicius Jr.

Valencia has reportedly identified 3 fans responsible for the offense of racism against Vinicius Jr.

The incident of racism against Vinicius Jr. has put immense pressure on La Liga as well as on Valencia Football Club. The hosts of Mestalla stadium have issued a statement about identifying fans responsible for the inhuman act. The club further went on claiming what actions would be taken against such fans.

While condemning the act of racism, Valencia has issued a statement that three fans have been identified about the alleged incident of racism. The club said that the fans who are responsible for such acts would be banned for a lifetime. This would deny them from getting entry into any stadium where Valencia is playing.

The club further went on to state that the entire Mestalla stadium was not responsible for racism. Much contrary to what Vinicius Junior and Carlo Ancelotti have said about the incident blaming all the fans present in the stadium. The ‘Che’ team also posted instances of how they have banned fans from visiting stadiums in earlier racist instances 

As of now, Vinicius Jr. will miss the next game against Rayo Vallecano. The Brazilian forward is compared to Muhammad Ali for not submitting to insults and abuses as a cause of racism.
