At a restaurant, a teenage Manchester United supporter made a fool of Darwin Nunez, a striker for Liverpool. Following this incident, Darwin Nunez’s video became viral on Twitter.

As a young fan wearing a grey hoodie beckoned him to take a picture with him, the teenager removed his hoodie and revealed his actual colors, as he was wearing Manchester United’s third kit. Nunez laughed and walked out of the restaurant. Darwin Nunez has struggled to reach the back of the net at times this season, but he has 11 goals and 4 assists in all competitions. One of the most fierce rivalries in England is between Liverpool and Manchester United, two of the largest clubs in the country. The Northwest Derby is another name for this inter-city rivalry. When legendary manager Sir Alex Ferguson joined the Red Devils, he said in a famous quote that he will knock the Merseyside reds off the leaderboard of the PL. Liverpool was the most successful team at the time with 18 top-flight titles.

Manchester United has a better head-to-head record than Liverpool, having won 83 games to Liverpool’s 70. Liverpool enjoyed early success in the 1970s and 1980s, while Sir Alex Fergusson led Manchester United to prominence and glory with 38 trophies won. More trophies have been won by Liverpool than by Manchester United. Every time they have come into contact, it has been a heated encounter.
