It is no secret about how much Cristiano Ronaldo has given back to the world of football all through the years starting from his goals to skills to his golden moments and so on. He is adored by fans all over the world and many would consider him as the best of all times without any doubt and would trade anything just to watch him play and have the ball at his feet.
Last week Manchester United faced Sheriff away in the Europa League group stage match and some of the Moldovian supporters could literally watch Ronaldo from their apartments which are close to the stadium. They even had the honor of watching Ronaldo score his first goal for the season and even cheered for the five-time Ballon D’or winner despite him being on the opposition team.
How will Cristiano Ronaldo settle into Erik Ten Hag’s plans for the season:
After the arrival of Erik Ten Hag, Manchester United has looked a complete different team notching up four back-to-back wins in the Premier League, and in their last league match, they ended the winning streak of table-toppers Arsenal beating them by 3 goals to 1. But Ronaldo has failed to register himself as a first-team starter and has zero goals from six matches in the league.
Erik Ten Hag was highly in appreciation of the player before the start of the season and specifically wanted him to stay considering him in his plans. But Ronaldo hasn’t looked in his best of forms and has mostly played the matches coming on as a substitute. It will be curious to find out how well the Portuguese great find himself back to his original best and keep on leading his team to greatness.
