The Welsh football club finally managed to Qualify for the fourth tier of English football. Phil Parkinson’s side qualified after a long gap of 15 years after they last played in 2008. But the story of financing Wrexham is still that will make jaws open.

The team came directly under the Hollywood grip making Ryan Reynold and Rob McElhenney joint owners. In 2020, the owners just out of passion and a bit of curiosity purchased Wrexham Afc for two million pounds. The two only had the passion to make their dream of reels into a reality.

During the second full season of the Hollywood-owned club, it was all about bringing finance. The Wrexham owners made an OTT series on the Football club – ‘Welcome to Wrexham’. The TV series was released in the USA, Ireland and the United Kingdom through Hulu, FX and Disney +.

The dead pool star along with the co-owner signed a TikTok sponsorship deal for two years in 2021. The promoted team as one recalls is seen bearing the logo of the social media platform on their jersey. The national league team also has an official channel on the Tiktok Platform. The team has grown in leaps and bounds in the last three years and has got the fruits of hard work. It is a wait of time to see how they perform in their new elevated space from the next season.
