While families were made to wait up to 90 minutes for a Halloween attraction, pop sensation Shakira allegedly skipped the line. Even more than Barcelona’s event spooky setup, the Colombian-born superstar’s spoiled attitude is alleged to have “horrified” tourists. According to reports, the musician, who was born in Colombia, shoved past families who had been standing in line for up to 90 minutes.
Furious audience members described how she and two security personnel were brought to the front of the line at the Tower of Terror in the Spanish city. The 45-year-old Hips Don’t Lie singer is rumoured to have gone through the fast track along with her two kids, her friend, and their kids.
Shakira and her entourage were seen on camera walking inside the space before she uncomfortably glanced back at the incensed crowd. She was hustled inside while awkwardly casting a glance back at the crowds in Barcelona. As she enjoyed the spooky season with her kids, Shakira appeared to be dressed as a cheerleader.
One bystander told Socialité: “They began to separate everyone, and Shakira appeared with her children and two security agents and they sneaked in. Despite people crying out, Shakira doesn’t flinch. The organisation said that they let in whoever they wanted. The attitude is what horrifies all the attendees. Everyone was outraged, because it is a very cr**ppy image.”
