The highly regarded club and the debut club of the five-time Ballon d’Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo Sporting CP have expressed their keen and appealing interest in wanting to have their former star footballer Ronaldo back. Still, they have explained the reasons why they cannot do anything about it.

Sporting CP manager Ruben Amorim has told regarding the same, “Cristiano Ronaldo is a United player. Everybody in Sporting dreams of the return for Cristiano but we don’t have the money to pay his wages. I think he’s happy in Manchester but he’s not playing so that’s the problem”

The Portuguese star has been the subject of numerous transfer rumors, which were followed by reports that he was at odds with Manchester United’s administration and head coach Eric Ten Hag. Because he did not have enough playing time this season, the problems grew worse.

Sporting CP, Ronaldo began his club career in 2003, and he did the club well. The outstanding plays he made in his 31 games for the team convinced Sir Alex Ferguson, the head coach of Manchester United at the time, to sign the star player without even giving it a second thought.
