Former Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger has given his word on what’s needed to bring about new talent in football today. The 72-year-old believes that Africa along with many other nations requires a lot of investment in order to extract talented footballers who can play for the biggest clubs.

Wenger spoke via FIFA saying, “Mbappe has African roots but was trained in Europe. If he’d been born in Cameroon, he wouldn’t have become the striker he is today. There’s Europe and there’s the rest of the world. The latter needs help, otherwise, we’re going to miss a great deal of talent.”
