Cristiano Ronaldo recently revealed that his favorite movie is ‘The Silence Of The Lambs’. The Portuguese was on a show where he had to fact check stats and rumors about himself.

When asked whether about his favorite movie, Ronaldo stated: “My favourite movie… I’m more of a documentary guy and I said this 10 years ago as well but Silence of the Lambs. It’s one of them. I know it’s an old movie, 34-35 years old, but I like drama.”

The question was asked in reference to an older interview of the 38 year old where he first revealed the movie to be his favorite. The 1991 film centres on an idealistic FBI cadet who is assigned to approach Hannibal Lecter’s jailed murderer for assistance in locating a serial killer who wears the skin of his victims.

Following its enormous box office success, the movie went on to take home Oscars for Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress, and Best Adapted Screenplay. The movie stars Anthony Hopkins and Jodie Foster in lead roles.

Cristiano Ronaldo is currently playing at Al Nassr in the Saudi Pro League becoming the highest-paid footballer on the planet. The 38-year-old has won five Ballon d’Or’s, being only the second player to do so. He also holds the record for the most Champions League goals scored, playing in the tournament with top clubs like Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus.
