Harry Kane’s 185th top-flight goal for Tottenham took him above Argentina striker Sergio Aguero’s total of 184 during his time at Manchester City. As the Tottenham striker scored in the encounter against Wolves on Saturday, Harry Kane broke the Premier League record for most goals scored with a single club.
With his 185th Premier League goal for Tottenham, Harry Kane surpassed Sergio Aguero of Argentina, who had 184 goals while playing for Manchester City. In his quest to surpass Jimmy Greaves as the north London club’s all-time record scorer, Harry Kane moved 16 goals behind Greaves with his 250th goal for Tottenham in all competitions.
At the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the 29-year-historic old’s moment occurred in the 64th minute when he headed home from close range after Ivan Perisic flicked on a corner. Last weekend’s 2-2 draw against Chelsea featured Kane’s first goal of the year, and his 84th-minute header tied Aguero for the most goals in Premier League history.
