My dad’s mum was Welsh, she was born in Newport and grew up there. It’s something I would love to do. It would be a dream come true. Added to it, Paul also reflected on Rob Page’s decision and stated:
It’s been said in quite a lot of places and surprisingly it got put forward to the Wales manager quite a lot last year. I don’t expect to be called up. I obviously hold out hope that if I’m playing well enough and somehow I get the chance to do so, I’ll be over the moon. It’s not something I expect, but it’s something I would relish and enjoy. I think I could do it.
