“You can not miss the pre-season”- Manchester United boss delivers verdict on Cristiano Ronaldo ahead of match against Arsenal
Cristiano Ronaldo and Eric Ten Hag for Manchester United
Manchester United coach Eric Ten Hag has given out statements about the five-time Ballon d’Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo ahead of the match against Arsenal which is to happen today. His statement gave more reasons for Ronaldo being inactive in the starter lineup and why Eric’s decision about the team is so strong.
Eric Ten Hag said, “I will be his friend. Sometimes I will be his teacher. It depends on the situation. As we all know, he didn’t have the pre-season and you can not miss the pre-season, it’s a base.”. He emphasizes the fact how important a pre-season is and how Ronaldo’s absence could create a difference in his performance.
Adding more to his verdicts, he said, “Especially the game we play, the way of play is not the type in comparison with last year. It depends on the demands, co-operation and demands certain positioning, in and out of possession. And the other thing is the fitness.”. These lines show the equality a coach maintains between the players.
Eric ten Hag has always been a coach for what the game demands. The stardom and status of the player never put pressure on him. Eric made it clear in his statement that he does not have any issues with Ronaldo but the game demands certain positioning, cooperation, and most importantly fitness, which younger players offer more.

Cristiano Ronaldo and his struggle with Manchester United
The Portugal star Cristiano Ronaldo is undoubtedly one of the best players in the football world and has a huge fan base. But unfortunately, he is having a bad season this year. He was neither regular in the starter lineup nor has marked a victory or goal in his account. Fans feel hard to see him this way.
He has only played a full game in their second game this season which they, unfortunately, lost against Brentford. Man Utd also lost their first game against Brighton but seized the next 3 games by winning all of them. And in all of them, Ronaldo substituted after half-time. Everybody hopes to see the Vintage Ronaldo back.
