Recently Argentine Alexis Mac Allister provided some details of how the team’s captain’s protection of his teammates is not only limited to the playing ground.
The player revealed that he had lately been struggling with bullying in his national team and people calling him names. “I remember everyone called me Colo, which is ginger in Argentina. I don’t like and he told the teammates that.” The player said about the PSG forward protecting him.
“He said, He doesn’t like to be called Colo, so don’t call him that,” said the young lad indicating that Leo ordered his teammates to shut up the bullying and be calm. Who in the Argentine national team can possibly wrong the guy who made them run to the finals?
That’s the Argentine legend for you, that’s how he treats people, his friends, and protects them no matter what the situation is, the man has definitely earned several players’ respect for not only protecting them but giving them advice to improve their character as well.
