The Premier League season is headed to a close and the final match-day has a lot riding on it for teams looking to secure Champions League and Europa League spots for the next season. Manchester City would not need another Aguerooooo moment as they have already pocketed the Premier league title but the others might just need a last minute goal to turn things around for them.

Leicester and Tottenham are currently level at 1-1 as Jamie Vardy’s penalty was equalised by Harry Kane late on in the half. As things stand, Leicester are headed for the Europa League and Tottenham will finish 8th in the table if all other matches end the same way. Both teams need to win to have any hopes of qualifying for Europe next season and an exciting 2nd half is on the cards. Harry Kane’s goal has also given him the upper hand in the race for the Golden Boot in England with 23 goals.

Liverpool are winning 1-0 against Crystal Palace courtesy of a 36th minute goal from Sadio Mane. The current result means that Liverpool would qualify into the Champions League next season as the fourth placed team and Palace would end the season at 14th after the round of fixtures. Mohammed salah needs to to score 2 goals in the next half to take over the Golden Boot from Harry Kane.

CHELSEA Vs ASTON VILLA

Chelsea trail to Aston Villa

In what is another crunch match for Chelsea, the London based side are currently trailing Aston Villa by a goal. Bertrand Traore has scored for the Villa’ ns in the 43rd minute of the half. Chelsea however, will progress into the Champions League with a defeat if Leicester fail to win their respective match against Spurs. However, a defeat here with a scoreline of more than 3-0 will end up seeing Leicester qualify because of a better head-to head record.

Manchester City are wining their match against Everton by a comfortable 2-0 margin and will put ‘The Toffees’ out of the Europa league with the current result. Elsewhere, Manchester United have also taken the lead against Wolves with their young squad where Solskjaer has started 5 academy graduates.
