The former English and Arsenal legend, Ian Wright was spotted in an episode of ‘Assumptions With…’ in the youtube channel UMM which is hosted by Harry Pinero a member and part of one of the greatest crew in YouTube known as the Sidemen.
Harry Pinero kept some assumptions in front of Ian Wright which was sent by fans to ask the legend whether it’s true or not, some were straight up facts while some assumptions revealed some shocking truths.
Let’s check out some of the assumptions and what Ian Wright had to say about them:
Dennis Bergkamp is a true goat
Ian Wright has played in one of the most iconic era of Arsenal and according to the Gunner Dennis Bergkamp was definite the best that he has ever played with.
Ian Wright was known as the Cold Finisher when arrived at Arsenal and Bergkamp definitely tried to bring out the best out of his strike mate in the box providing Wright some juicy and delicious which he converted and delivered the result which Arsenal needed.

Ian Wright made a very witty comment on this assumption saying that “He is the present as well, we need him we need him so much,” as the 20 year old Young lad has brought what was much needed for the Arsenal Squad for a long time as he continues to deliver.
Arsenal has recently produced some great players in their academy which includes the likes of Bukayo Saka, Emil Smith Rowe, Reiss Nelson, Folarin Balogun and many more as these youngsters look forward to be the key for the future of Arsenal and hence Ian Wright also thinks the future for Arsenal definitely is very bright.

“Yeah, easily,” said Wright as he added, “Because when I went to Arsenal they were champions last two years out of three from 89 to 91 and you are going into the dressing room of winners and champions and you’re thinking firstly am I good enough to get into the team simply because when I went there people were saying why did we even buy him, that kind of makes you nervous when you’re listening to news or reading newspapers.”
Ian Wright definitely proved himself and his worth as he was Arsenal’s record signing at that time (£2.5m). Wright fought his way and made a name for himself in the history of Gunners as he became the highest goalscorer which was later on taken over by his successor Thierry Henry who beat his previous record of 185 and moved it up to 228.

This is still to date one of the most debated topic and Ian Wright said, “Terry Venables messed up that day and I ll never forgive him. I died that day, a part of me died that day,” when he did not recieve the call up
“I got left out right at the death and they introduced the golden goal for that tournament,” Ian Wright said.
“When they left me out it was devastating, I believe that was my purpose, I was meant to be there to score the winning goal. No one came off the bench and done it for England.”

Mohamed Salah has definitely put forward his skillset on the pitch and has definitely proved himself to be one of the best, if not the best in the world right now.
The English pundit Ian Wright definitely agrees with this as Salah has been in an absolute electric form this season as he continues to deliver game and game after.
