REPORT: Dortmund’s offer to Triple Erling Halaand’s Release Clause

German giants Borussia Dortmund have reportedly offered a fresh new contract to their star player Erling Haaland amidst the rising interests from clubs all around Europe.
According to Sport, Borussia Dortmund has submitted a renewal offer to the footballer until 2027, according to the journalist specialising in the market, Nicolo Schira. Dortmund would triple his record but want his exit clause stipulated at around 75 million euros to disappear. The player’s idea is to leave this summer and he is listening to offers with Madrid, Barça and City leading the bid to take him away.
Erling Haaland has been one of the most sought-after players all across Europe owing to the 21-year old’s extraordinary goal-scoring record. The Borussia Dortmund striker has netted 80 goals in 79 appearances since joining Dortmund from RB Salzburg two years ago and the goals.

FC Barcelona’s strong pursuit of the Dortmund superstar
FC Barcelona have stepped up the swiftness in the race to land Erling Haaland next summer although Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea and Real Madrid are also in the hunt to sign the Borussia Dortmund star.
The Catalan giants have looked to steal a march on their rivals with president Joan Laporta and sporting director Jordi Cruyff holding official talks with the player’s agent Mino Raiola earlier this month. The trio met in Monaco 11 days ago, with Laporta and Cruyff heading to the principality, where super-agent Raiola lives. In the meeting, the duo formalised FC Barcelona’s interest in the 21-year-old son of former Leeds and Manchester City star Alf-Inge Haaland.
FC Barcelona president, Joan Laporta when asked about Haaland said, “Haaland? We did a great job in the winter and I hope we do a better job in the summer as well.”
Prior to his meeting with the Nou Camp officials, Raiola and Haaland senior had themselves met, with the youngster’s dad fully involved in all discussions.
Latest reports suggest that Erling Haaland’s salary demands range between €25-30m per year and the transfer fee would be €75m.
