Beto however restored his side’s one goal lead scoring just before the half time. Sampdoria captain Fabio Quagliarella scored from the spot early in the second half. Sampdoria managed to take the lead for the first time after Antonio Candreva scored an absolute belter from outside the box, but unfortunately his goal was cancelled out by Fernando Forestieri in the 82nd minute.
