5. Felix Kroos

Whenever we hear about the name Kroos, the image of the German sniper instantly emerges in our minds and if one is a Real Madrid fan then it strikes the heart first then the mind.

Toni Kroos is a modern day legend who had written his name with the golden letters in the history books of the Beautiful Game. However this isn’t the case with his younger brother Felix Kroos.

He came through Hansa Rostock and went on to sign for Werden Bremen in 2010. He played with the Bundesliga side for five-and-a-half season before moving down the tier two football with Union Berlin in 2016.

4. Joel Drogba

The case with Didier Deogba’s younger brother is a classic example of living in the shadow of a more successful sibling. When the more popular Drogba was introducing himself to the Premier League.

And busy creating history with the Stamford Bridge then at the same time parallely his lesser known younger sibling Joel Drogba was busy doing trials for various clubs including St. Pauli, NK Zagreb.

He finally decided to sign for Metalurh Donetsk in 2007. Although he failed to make an appearance with them and left a year later with no goals and appearances whatsoever.

3. Mathias Pogba

He is the least famous member of the Pogba family. Getting the nod ahead of his twin brother Florentin Pogba because he has been quite underrated when it comes to his career.

We all know who Paul Pogba is and what has been his impact on the game. And even his other sibling Florentin had played for Saint-Etienne and Genclerbirligi in Turkey. Mathias struggled with Sparta Rotterdam in the Dutch League Eredivisie.

Mathias is currently with the fourth tier club ASM Belfort which in itself clears out his current situation in terms of being a successful footballer.

2. Tobias Shweinsteiger

The older brother of a German Football Legend Bastian Schweinsteiger. Everyone knows the Bavarian legend Bastian as he has left his mark in the history of football. 

While he has enjoyed a spectacular career his older brother Tobias had a pretty wandering career in the German second tier and even in the regional leagues. 

He adored Eric Cantona and fell in love with the charismatic personality of the legendary number 7 of The Red Devil. While failing to come even close to sign for them. Although he signed for Bayern Munich in 2012.

Where he failed to make a name for himself and often used to play for the reserved team finally decided to hung up his boots in 2015 the year when Bastian Schweinsteiger decided to leave Bayern for Manchester United.

1 . Federico Higuain

This one certainly tops the list fafe and square. It is about the story of the older brother of the Argentine heavyweight Gonzalo Higuain. Federico moved to Europe in 2008 following his younger brother’s footsteps.

He joined Besiktas where he played only one season in the Turkish League. Then after that returned home to the Argentine League. Although he did enjoy a great spell in 2015 with the MLS side Columbus Crew where he averaged a goal in every third game.

However, the more famous brother Gonzalo Higuain had enjoyed spells with Real Madrid, Juventus, Napoli and Chelsea. Federico told FIFA.com in 2013: “Honestly, it doesn’t bother me that people want to talk about Gonzalo all the time. I don’t feel any bitterness.”
